Beverly Bolender

Cottage Grove - Beverly Bolender, passed away on September 15th, 2017, at the age of 81, suddenly following an illness from cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Beverly (Severson) was united in marriage to George Bolender in 1955, they had 3 children: Dale (Molly) Bolender - McFarland, Sharon (Kurt) Olson of Edgerton, Mark (Janiece) Bolender of Cottage Grove WI. Beverly grew-up on her family farm outside Cottage Grove. Together they built two homes close to the family farm to be close to her parents. She carpentered with George until he retired. Then they moved back to the family farm. She enjoyed visiting her daughter Sharon and son in-law Kurt and enjoyed their gardens and garden displays. She enjoyed working in tobacco with friends, enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, spending time with the neighbors having coffee, and spending time and going on day trips with the Goecks family. Beverly and her son Mark lived on the farm after George passed in 1993. Son Mark and daughter in-law Janiece, in 2009 built a new home on the family farm, which she and they all enjoyed. Beverly knows Jesus as her savior and is overjoyed to be in heaven with him, her bride groom George and those family members above.

Beverly is proceeded in death by her parents Edward and Loraine Severson, brothers Eugene and Mike Severson, sister Shirley Williams. She is survived in death by sister Mary Lou Orcutt, (3) children, (4) grandchildren, and (3) great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at WESTERN KOSHKONONG LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2633 Church Street, Cottage Grove, WI on September 18th, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Thomas Heyn officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Graveside services will follow at Western Koshkonong Lutheran Church Cemetery.
