Betty Teetzen

Betty Teetzen age 72, of Waunakee, died peacefully at Waunakee Manor on May 31st, 2016, with her sons by her side. She was born in Shawano, WI, on April 26, 1944 to Roy and Louise (Milarch) Nehring. Betty was employed for 29 years at the Waunakee Tribune as a graphic designer and retired in 2007. She was a charter member of Peace Lutheran Church serving as secretary from its beginning for 1 � years. She taught Sunday school and designed and created many church banners. She was a member for several years in the Waunakee Area Lioness Club holding positions of both secretary and president. Over her lifetime she enjoyed doing all sorts of arts and crafts and always enjoyed the company of friends and family. Her greatest pride and joy were her three sons who were always there for her.

Survivors include her sons, Gerald (Nancy), David and Michael; sister Susan (Dan) Pulver; brother, Kenneth (Bernice) Nehring; grandson Garet Teetzen, granddaughter Corie (Jesse) Simms; great-grandchildren; Sawyer, Sailor, Scout, and Sennett Simms; plus many nieces, nephews, cousin and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Donald Nehring.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church 710 S Century Ave, Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services
