Betty Heaton

Sun Prairie - Betty Joe Heaton, age 84 passed away on June 13, 2013. She was born in Crooked Creek Indiana on May 14, 1929. Her parents were Philip and Ida Ward. She graduated from Pike Township High School. She married Delbert L. Heaton in 1950. She had two children, Debra Joe and Jeffrey Mark. She moved to Wisconsin in 1968 and worked /retired from General Telephone Company. She is survived by her children; 5 grandchildren ,Jennifer Koone in Medford Oregon, Brian Wichinski in Chicago Illinois, Jessica Engle in Reno Nevada, Kari Petersen in Cincinnati Ohio and Jill Heaton in Seattle Washington and 3 great grandchildren, Colton Koone, Thoren Petersen and Cecily Engle. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert, her brother Bill and her parents.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 1:00pm with Reverend Scott Carlson officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of services. Burial of her cremains will be held on Saturday at Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery in Zionsville, IN.
