Beth Prazak

Sun Prairie - Beth Jeanine (Munderloh) Prazak, age 67, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on August 11th after a severe illness. She was born in West Point, Nebraska on June 9, 1948, the daughter of Arthur and Marilyn (Maack) Munderloh. Beth grew up on the family farm near Bancroft, NE. She married Joseph G. Prazak in June 1969. Beth was a graduate of Wayne State College and taught English and Library Science for several years until devoting herself to raising four daughters. Beth was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had a special place in her heart for children and served as a Girl Scout leader for many years.

Beth was a very kind, gentle and caring person. She enjoyed nature, with a special appreciation for birds, her favorite being the cardinal.

Beth is survived by her husband Joe; daughters, Sonya Cooper, Natalie (Kevin) Anderson, Amber Prazak and Lindsey Prazak; grandchildren, Geoffrey and Alyssa Andruss, Dasha Prazak-Zickert, David Cooper, Xavier Santiago and Aurora Anderson; step grandson Mario Santiago Jr.; sisters, Rojane (Myron) Beineke, Darla (Frank) Fisher, and Melanie Krueger; and, brothers, Rob, Brian, Todd, Jeff and Corey. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. Burial will follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
