Bernadette Pulvermacher

MARTINSVILLE-Bernadette A."Toots" (Annen) Pulvermacher, age 84, of Martinsville passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 27, 1930, in the town of Springfield Corners, the daughter of the late Matt and Christina (Faust) Annen. Bernadette graduated from Middleton High School in 1948. She married the love of her life on Feb. 9, 1950, in the town of Martinsville. John preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1992. Bernadette worked at a cheese factory prior to having children, was a babysitter to some of her grandchildren, and later at Belleville Truck Line, Inc. of which she was co-owner. She was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church and also a member of the Christian Mothers. Bernadette was an awesome baker and cook and enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed spending a lot of time playing cards with the ladies.

Bernadette is survived by Robert Pulvermacher of Martinsville, Vernon (Mary) Pulvermacher of Waunakee, Diane (Charles) Endres of Cross Plains, Donald (Paula) Pulvermacher of Roxbury, Carol Pulvermacher (Marilyn) of West Lynn, Ore., John Pulvermacher of Martinsville, and Charles Pulvermacher of Cross Plains; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John and one daughter, Debra Endres and a son, Kenneth Pulvermacher.

Funeral services will be held on Wed. Oct. 8,, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St Martins Catholic Church, 5959 St Martins Circle, Cross Plains WI. Rev Brian Dulli will officiate. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee on Tues. Oct. 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
