Benjamin "Ben" Krumbach

Benjamin Theodore Krumbach, aged twenty-one, of Madison, WI, passed away on April 11th, 2026, surrounded by family, after a courageous two-year battle with rhabdomyosarcoma. Born on June 26, 2004, in Madison, WI, Ben was the beloved son of Tricia and Ted Krumbach, and younger brother to Gage and Jack Krumbach. Ben committed to play volleyball at Calvin University, where he studied business and, in his words, “to make bank.” Outside of school, Ben loved fishing, adding to his Pokémon card collection, and spending time with his friends and the family pets, Lewis, Clark, and Kona. Ben had a gift for kindness and making people feel seen. His warmth and humor touched everybody who crossed his path, from the people who knew him best to those whom he had just met. He was the kind of person who walked into a room and left everyone in it a little better. Even in his final days, Ben's thoughts were never on himself, but on the people he loved. Ben is deeply loved and will be missed every single day.

Ben is survived by his parents, Tricia and Theodore Krumbach, his brothers, Gage and Jack Krumbach, grandparents Jeff and Kathy Tuler, Aunt Tracy Matteson, Uncle Andy Tuler, and Uncle Bill Krumbach.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 25th at High Point Church, 7702 Old Sauk Rd, Madison, WI 53717. The visitation will start at 2:00 pm with a service at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow the service, and all are welcome.
