Beatrice L. Rice

Stoughton- Beatrice L. Rice, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Skaalen Nursing Home.   She was born on September 6, 1912 the daughter of Wesley and Johanna (Stai) Rice.   Bea is survived by three nephews, Robert (Jean) Schwartz, Jack Sellers and Brian (Linda) Rice; two nieces, Karen ( Wayne) Keeser and Susan (Joel) Wright; and several great nieces and great nephews.   She was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Quam; three brothers, Harry, Burt and Rollin Rice; three nephews, Roger Schwartz and Robert and Richard Rice; and niece-in-law, Emily Sellers.   Private family graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery.   A special thank you to Dr. Joyce Brehm, HospiceCare Inc., Skaalen Nursing Home Unit 6 staff, special friend Sandy Scheel, and especially to Bea's social workers, Rachel and Kelly, for helping Bea to stay in her home.
