Barbara Slack

MADISON:

Barbara M. Slack, age 94, of Madison passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home. She was born on February 19, 1922 in Madison, the daughter of Ray and Barbara (Robb) Slack.

Barbara lived in Madison her entire life, passing just short of her 95th birthday. She worked at UW-Madison until retiring in 1984. She loved taking photos, growing flowers especially African Violets, and traveling, with trips to Europe being her favorite.

Barbara is survived her nephew, David Goeden; and nieces, Teresa Keyes and family, Anne Rank and family, and Cindy Slack. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brother, Bill (Frances) Slack, Stanley (Elvirda) Slack, Ray (Mary) Slack and John (Mildred) Slack; sister, Rose (Robert) Goeden; nephew, Robert Goeden.

Private family funeral services were held.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare of Madison.
