Barbara Hazard

McFarland/Stoughton- Barbara P. Hazard, age 74, passed away on June 4, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Madison on April 2, 1939, the daughter of Donald and Gladys Arendsee. Barbara enjoyed working as a waitress. She was devoted to her family. Barbara loved a good mystery movie, anything to do with forensics, and playing BINGO with friends. She is survived by her husband, Richard; three children, Jesse Botello, Denise (John) Spooner and Christina (Shane) Springen; 10 grandchildren, Tiffany, Kyria, Mary, Rebecca, Aubrey, Eric, Faith, Rachel, Sarah and Charles; two great grandchildren, Malakai and Chayan; four siblings, Brycelane (Doug) Houston, Brenda (James) McKeown-Cross, Bonita Killian and Bruce (Linda) Arendsee; and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; two infant daughters, Babette and Susan; sister, Beverly (Joseph) Sommers; and brothers-in-law, Robert Killian and Robert McKeown. Visitation will be held, where friends are encouraged to share their memories, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland. Burial will take place in Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon. A special thank you to the staff of Agrace HospiceCare Inc.
