Barbara C. Foskett

Barbara C. Foskett, age 70, of Madison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  She was born on June 1, 1953 in Berlin, WI to Robert and Audrie (Klawitter) Weiler.  She married Russell Foskett on October 21, 1972 at St. James Catholic Church in Neshkoro, WI. 

Barb loved camping, fishing, hiking, and really anything having to do with the outdoors.  She was always cheering for the Brewers, Badgers, and Packers which were her favorite teams. 

Barb was always the happiest when she was with her family.  She embraced the role of doting grandma by attending as many dance recitals, concerts, games, and school outings for her grandchildren as she could.  She loved nothing more than being with her family for the holidays.

Barb is survived by her husband of 51 years, Russ; children: Joshua (Julie), Rebecca (Mitch) St. John, and Joseph; six grandchildren: Brooke, Logan, Raeanna, Elijah, Owen, and Violet; sisters: Margaret, Catie, and Linda; brothers: Thomas and John.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Audrie; sister: Ruthann; and brother-in-law Don Mayer.

Visitation will be from 10-12:00 PM on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, WI 53716 with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12:00 PM (noon).  Barb will be brought to her final place of rest at St. James Catholic Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date.
