Barbara (Barb) LaVon (Graham) Foellmi, a life-long Madison, WI, resident, passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 91 at the Agrace Hospice Care Center in Fitchburg, WI. She was born in Madison, WI, on October 25, 1934, to William Carleton and Mary LaVon Olson Graham. She graduated from Nakoma (now Thoreau) grade school, West High School (1952), and Madison Business College. She married Donald Richard Foellmi of Sparta, WI, on June 7, 1958, in Madison, WI. Barb retired from the USDA Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory in 1994 after 30 years of service. Barb and Don spent their retirement years sightseeing in Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland, enjoying motorcycling throughout the U.S. with friends, and enjoying the peace and quiet of their rural property in Grant County. Time spent with her family was always cherished. 

Gone before her are her parents, brother William Bruce (Bill) Graham, and sister Elizabeth (Betsy) (Donovan, dec.) Quam. 

She is survived by her husband Donald, dear sons John Graham and Steven Richard, precious granddaughter Paige LaVon Foellmi (John’s daughter), and relatives. 

Burial will take place when Barbara and Donald are deceased. In a private family gathering, invitation only, Barbara and Donald will be laid to rest together at Forest Hill Cemetery, Speedway Road, Madison, WI. 

If desired, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice in memory of Barbara.
