Audrey L. Bock

Audrey L. (Schackmuth) Bock passed away on April 8, 2025. She was born to Norbert and Edna (Miller) on November 15, 1932 in Kenosha, WI. She married Jerome Nelson in 1952.

Audrey loved to cook and bake. Her specialty was cinnamon rolls, and she loved to share them with her family and friends. Everyone looked forward to Audrey’s holiday meals.

Audrey had many jobs cooking and cashiering, but her most enjoyable job was volunteering at the Oakwood gift shop. She also had an affinity for giraffes and orchids. Most of all, Audrey loved her family and friends.

Audrey is survived by her two daughters Debbie and Linda (Mark); sister Mary (Roger); grandchildren Stacy, Heidi, Shawn (Elsa), Tonya (Jason), and Jason; great-grandchildren Kelsey, Brayden, and Alexis; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome; parents Edna and Norbert; sisters Laverne (Roger) and Darlene; mother-in-law Marie (Alvin) Nelson

Special thanks to Agrace Hospice and the wonderful care they gave my mom. Thank you to all of her friends that visited and everyone who made her life a little brighter including Pastor Rod and Pastor Ben from Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.

Visitation will be from 11-11:30 am on Monday, May, 19, 2025 at Cress SUN PRAIRIE with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 am. Audrey will be brought to her final place of rest at Norway Grove Cemetery in DeForest.
