Asher Steinhauer

Madison - Asher Anthony Steinhauer was born on February 2, 2015 at 1:05 am. He was 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 � inches long. Asher was herculean his entire life. From coming out with his cord around his neck three times to pooping every 2 hours at American Family Children's Hospital to not allowing the doctors to find out what was wrong with him at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He was also a blessing his entire life. From making us a family of 4 to touching so many lives throughout the world lifting him up in prayer to bringing people closer to God, including his daddy. Asher left his mark on this world in a huge way and left this world a better place. Asher died of complications from Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome after 24 days of a grueling fight.

In Asher's final days, he was surrounded by loving family members. At 11:30 am on February 26, 2015, Angela and I withdrew support for Asher's body and he passed away in the loving arms of his mother and I. Asher became PERFECT because God DID fix him and he DID win the war to be in Heaven. Asher is survived by his parents Angela & Anthony Steinhauer, big brother Elijah, grandparents Duane & Rosann Steinhauer, great grandma Ruth Steinhauer, grandparents Paul & Nancy Zabel, great grandma Olive Thurnau, 11 aunts and uncles, 11 cousins and thousands of people he has touched.

Funeral services will be held at High Point Christian for immediate family on Monday, March 2, 2015 with Pastor Nic Gibson officiating. Burial will take place North Side Cemetery in Mt. Horeb immediately following the service.
