Arnold Imholte

Arnold "Arnie" Imholte, age 57, passed away on Sat. Sept. 2, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare surrounded by his family. Arnie was born Nov. 22, 1959 in Saint Cloud, MN, the son of Andrew and Elaine (Sauter) Imholte. Arnie is a graduate of Cathedral High School in St. Cloud, MN. He married Jane Marie Kremer on Aug. 30, 1986. He is a graduate from the University of Minnesota and received his Master's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Arnie worked as an agronomist for DuPont-Pioneer for 31 years. Arnie's first love was his family, especially spending time with his sons and their activities. He was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He was very strong in his faith, and showed this by his actions every day. He was a friend to many and was a golfer, artist and musician.
Arnie is survived by his wife of 31 years Jane Imholte, 2 sons: AJ Imholte and Chris Imholte; brothers Frank (Peggy) Imholte, Paul (Karen) Imholte; sister Joelle Imholte; sister-in-law Lynn (Mark) Imholte Schwinghammer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Glenn Imholte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Wed. Sept 6, 2017 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr. Madison, with Msgr. Ken Fiedler presiding. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tue. Sept 5, 2017 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd. A rosary will be said at 4:00 PM, and a time of sharing will be at 7:00 PM. There will also be visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of the Mass on Wed. at the church. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM Thursday Sept 7, 2017 at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in St. Cloud, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Imholte Family, for an education fund for Arnie's sons to be established, or the Help Haiti Fund "Hands Together", P.O. Box 80985, Springfield, MA 01138.
