Arline L. Quandahl

Stoughton- Arline L. Quandahl, age 89, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Harbor House.   She was born in Stoughton on January 1, 1921, the daughter of Knut and Anna (Torblo) Loftus.   Arline graduated from Stoughton High School in 1938.   She was the secretary for Clarke and Lunde Law Office for 25 years.   In 1954 Arline married Victor Sundt, who preceded her in death in 1959.   In 1964 Arline married Howard Quandahl.   She enjoyed travel and the activities of her nieces and nephews.   Arline was a life long member of Christ Lutheran Church.   She is survived by her sister, Delores Johnson of Plymouth, MN; sister-in-law, Dorothy Loftus of Deerfield; brother-in-law, Arnold ( Doris) Sundt of McFarland; step daughter, Kathlen (Ricky) Ellingson and their son Rodney; step son Dennis Quandahl; and several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Victor and Howard; infant son, Alan; and brothers, Obert, Kennerd and Milo Loftus.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton, with Rev. Paula Geister-Jones officiating.   Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at the church immediately following the services.   Burial will take place in Eastside Cemetery.   Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services on Monday.   A special thank you to the staff of HospiceCare Inc. and Harbor House for their care and compassion.
