Arletta A. Tiemann

Madison - Arletta Ahrens Tiemann, age 89, peacefully passed away on Thur. April 7, 2011. She was born on July 18, 1921 in West Middleton, the daughter of Walter and Clara (Voss) Ahrens. Arletta was married to Wilbur Tiemann on Aug. 22, 1941. She and Wilbur had one son, Richard Tiemann. In addition to being a wonderful mother, she was also a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church. Arletta enjoyed spending the weekends camping with her family and friends. For many years, she and Wilbur would pack the camper and head to the Wisconsin Dells. Arletta enjoyed flowers and plants, as well as house decorating and collecting knick knacks. She was a very special woman with much love in her heart. Those who knew her will miss her greatly. Arletta was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Wilbur; and her brother, Lester. She is survived by her loving son, Richard and special daughter-in-law, Joyce, both of Monona. Services for Arletta will be private.
