Sun Prairie- Arlene June Prevas, age 83 passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born June 25, 1931 the daughter of Robert and Emily (Lockwood) McBurney. She graduated in 1948 from Dows High School. On August 30, 1951, Arlene was united in marriage to Chris Prevas in Mitchell, South Dakota, they later divorced. She retired from Penford Products in 1999 where she worked for over 32 years. Arlene was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Eagle's Auxiliary 2272 and Penick and Ford retirees.

Arlene is survived by her son Dennis (Theresa) Prevas of Sun Prairie; brothers Robert (Betty) McBurney and Richard (Virginia) McBurney; grandchildren Dr. Richard (Karen) Iaccino and Becky Iaccino; great-grandchildren Gabriel and MacKenzie Iaccino . She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her son Keith Robert Prevas;parents; brother Russell and Ronald McBurney ; nephews Darren and Joe McBurney.
