Arlene Diederich

Arlene Diederich, age 85, of Waunakee died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Sun Prairie on July 13, 1927 to Franz and Esther (Gross) Hebl .
She married Werner Diederich on June 15, 1950 and lived all of her married life in Waunakee. Werner preceded her in death in 2011.

Arlene worked for Demco Library Supply in DeForest for many years. She enjoyed going to casinos and loved going to Badger football games. She was a long time member of St. John's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Steve (Katie Freber) of Beaver Dam and Mike of Waunakee; a grandson, Nathan Diederich; her brother Bernard Hebl; her sister Alice Stegerwald; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Tormey Vivian; and her brother, Jack Hebl.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 209 South Street,Waunakee. The Reverend Monsignor James Gunn and Reverend Monsignor John Hebl will concelebrate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 HWY Q, Waunakee. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
