Antoinette (Frederick) Laufenberg, age 91, of Waunakee passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Middleton. She was born on May 19, 1933 in Waunakee to Math and Elizabeth (Meffert) Frederick. She married Walter Laufenberg on April 23, 1955 and he preceded her in death in 2024.

Antoinette graduated from Waunakee High School and went to work at Madison General Hospital as a nursing assistant. In 1955 she married Walter, and together they went to Alaska while he served in the Army. They then came home to the family farm where she loved to drive tractor and help with everyday chores. Antoinette loved to garden and always took great pride in her many gardens. In her later years, one of her favorite pastimes was quilting. She made a quilt for each of her 5 children and 19 grandchildren that they all cherish.

Survivors include her children; Fred (Mary), Mary Johnson, Jim (Julie), Sharon (Mark) Knowles, Dave (Kate); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dave (Phyllis) Frederick and sister Carrie Ann Zander. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter; grandson Jason; brothers Gerald, Richard, Jerome and sisters, Mary Ellen (Ziegler) Acker and Dora Rose.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St Peters Catholic Church 7121 County Trunk K Middleton. Friends may call on Wednesday March 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee.

Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
