Anne Schilling

Sun Prairie-Anne Mary Schilling, age 56, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at UW Hospital, Madison. She was born on Sept. 5, 1955 in Minocqua the daughter of Richard & Rosalie Schilling. Anne has been a resident of the Sun Prairie/Madison area for over 30 years. Prior to coming to this area she lived in Marinette for 5 years where she was employed at the Stevenson Public Library as a cataloger. Moving to the area Anne was employed with the State of Wisconsin for over 30 years as a librarian and computer specialist. She was a lover of dogs and was an active member of the Great Lakes Irish Setter Rescue. Anne will be missed by her partner, Thomas Adams; her mother, Rosalie Schilling; her sisters, Kathleen (Joe) Pollock and Susan Schilling; her brother, Benjamin Schilling; her beloved canine companions, Penny & Ducky; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. A Memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie. A time of gathering will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the Great Lake Irish Setters Rescue or the Badger Kennel Club.
