Annabelle Schlagheck

MADISON - Annabelle C. Schlagheck, age 78, of Madison, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 following a long illness. A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI 53704, at 10:30 am following a memorial visitation in the church foyer from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
Annabelle is survived by her sisters-in-law Lois Schlager, Mary Beth Schlagheck and her nieces and nephews: Theresa, Catherine, Stephen, Russell, Bernard, John, Kenneth, and Gregory. Annabelle was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 13, 1936. She attended Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school located in Toledo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Isabelle (nee Mattimoe) Schlagheck, her brothers James F. Schlagheck and Kenneth J. Schlager. Annabelle made many friends in the community for people with disabilities and was an astute follower of movies of multiple genres. Annabelle's favorite program was Entertainment Tonight. She was capable of great wit, good humor and thoroughly enjoyed socializing with her friends and family.
