WAUNAKEE/ OREGON-Louise Staley, age 86, passed peacefully on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at her home in Waunakee surrounded by family. She was born on April 2, 1929, in Collingdale, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Florence (Epright) Lewis. She was employed as a Hospital Unit Clerk for many years. Louise married Bernard Staley in 1966.
Survivors include her four daughters; Lynn Weiss (Edward), Joyce Tracy, Christina Nelson (Jimmy), and Tracey Isais (Zeke); one son ,Charles Newton (Kathy); her sister, Viola Lathbury (John); 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie; grandson, Thomas Bernard Isais; brother, Andrew Lewis; sister, Florence Sminkey; son-in- law, Keith Tracy; and dogs, Pookie and Katie.
Mom loved to be with her family. She will be missed by her pet bird, Nicky and all of her friends at Cannery Row Apartments.
The family extends a special thank you to Home Health United Hospice, especially Dawn, Karen, Leah, Amber and Sister Georgeann for the wonderful care provided to Mom and our family.

A graveside service was held on Sat. Nov. 7, 2015, at 1:00 pm at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon. Rev. Kristen Lowe presided.
