Anna Doerfert

Anna Mae K. Doerfert, age 86, died on August 4, 2014 at ClareBridge of Sun Prairie. She was born on June 18, 1928 in Waukesha, to Henry and Katherine Heberlein. Anna married Willard Doerfert on July 6, 1946 in Horicon. They were happily married 68 years. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie. Anna Mae had a great sense of humor and could be quite spunky at times. She took great pride in her family and loved "babies". She is survived by her husband Willard; daughters Sheri ( Isaac) Knapton and Robin ( Jerry) Mulcahy; grandchildren Tamara, Dylan and Chance. She is survived by her brother in law and sister in law Lawrence and Jean Doerfert. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 12:00PM, Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie with Pastor Luke Werre officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.
