WAUNAKEE-Ann T. Woodburn, age 82, died on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at her son's home in Milwaukee. She was born in Madison on Dec. 28, 1935, to John and Elizabeth (Helt) Ripp. She married Donald Woodburn in 1953 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Ann was a lifelong member of St John's Catholic Church where she helped as a substitute cook and with funeral dinners. She always loved working with her flowers and gardens. Ann also was at one time manager of the local food pantry and continued to volunteer for a number of years.
Survivors include her two sons, Mark (Jessica) and Mike (Lori); five special grandchildren, Olivia, Sophie, Nora, John and Elizabeth; one sister, Aggie Ganser; three brothers, Cyril (Irene), George (Donna) and John Ripp; sisters-in-law, Ruth (Gary) Ziegler, Mary Ann Woodburn, and Betty Woodburn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Don; four sisters, Marie (Leo) Pertzborn, Betty (George) Marx, Sally (George) Miller, and Viola (Don) Mabis; three brothers-in-law, Charles and Harold Woodburn, and Clarence Ganser.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. Msgr. James Gunn will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
