July 5, 1936 — June 20, 2016

WAUNAKEE - Angeline "Angie" Frances Knipschield, 79, passed away peacefully while under hospice care at Waunakee Manor on Monday, June 20, 2016. Angie was born in Waukon, Iowa on July 5, 1936, the third child of Frank and Lucille Rowan. As a child, her family moved quite often throughout Iowa and Wisconsin. Angie was married in 1967 and remained in Wisconsin to raise her girls, both in Green Bay and Waukesha, WI. Angie later moved to Illinois and lived several years in both West Dundee and Galena, IL, where she spent many hours restoring the historic homes that she lived in. She also loved traveling, cooking, sewing and generally anything that involved her family. Angie was loved by many; her bright blue eyes and beautiful smile always lit up the room.

Angie is survived by her daughters Kathy (Jeff) Flammer of Southlake, TX and Amy Knipschield of Sun Prairie, WI. Angie is also survived by her sister Kay Rowan of Sun Prairie, WI; grandchildren Ryan Flammer and Hailey Flammer; nephew Michael Pailing and nieces Patty Pailing, Mary Jo Davis, Dena Matteson, Debra Huset, Lucille Willan, Theresa Moyes, and Donna Brown.
