Obituary

Angela Beth Fankhauser (Stuttgen), 48, of Deerfield passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her home. Angie was born on August 24, 1977, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Randy and Holly (Pierce) Stuttgen. She attended grade school in Eau Claire, then moved with her family to Germantown where she attended middle school and high school. After graduation in 1995, she went on to attend UW-Whitewater to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Her love of music led her to the love of her life, Ryan.

They both participated in the UW-Whitewater concert choir and vocal jazz group Class Act. Angie graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2000 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She did teach for a year after college at Marshall Middle School in Marshall WI, however when she could not obtain a permanent teaching position in the area, she decided to pursue a career with GAP corporation. She had worked at Old Navy during college, so she then continued to a multitude of managerial and leadership positions over a 20 plus year career. In 2023 Angie decided to take on a new challenge as an HR specialist with Cintas Corp. Though her time may have been short, she left a lasting impression on the wonderful people she met while working at Cintas.

Angie married Ryan July 26, 2003, at St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran church in Deerfield. They bought a house in Deerfield and raised three beautiful daughters together. The biggest joy in her life was supporting her three daughters Kylee, Kelynne and Karstyn . She absolutely loved watching them on the court, field, stage, or at one of the many school concerts.

Angie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was always willing to help whenever needed, whether it be bartending at the Deerfield Fireman’s Festival, coaching Karstyn’s softball team, or flying to Florida to support her father through surgery.

Angie is survived by her husband of 23 years Ryan, daughters Kylee, Kelynne and Karstyn and fur baby Kinky Rose. Her parents Randy and Holly Stuttgen, brother Corey (Lisa) Stuttgen, Maternal grandmother Connie Pierce and Uncle Steve Pierce. She is also survived by her In-laws Jack and Sheri Fankhauser, Steve and Judy Dorshorst, Brother-in-law Brett (Britt) Fankhauser, and stepbrothers in law Josh Maier, Wes (Cassidy) Maier and Marcus (Katie Molstad) Maier, nieces and nephews Xander, Cassie, Riana, Saphira, Spencer, and Griffin.

She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Leo and Lenore Stuttgen, uncles Mike and Greg Stuttgen, and maternal grandfather William Pierce.

An evening visitation will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 4-8pm at the St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran Education Center, 3494 Oak Park Rd, Deerfield, WI 53531. There will be a funeral service at St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 3PM. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday, at the church from 1-3 pm. A burial at St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran Cemetery will follow the service.
