Anette Carol Hanson

Annette Carol Hanson, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Skaalen Nursing Home.

She was born on January 17, 1946, the cherished daughter of Jerrold J. and Mildred L. (Johnson) Hanson. On May 24, 1997, Annette was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Larry G. Hanson, with whom she shared nearly three decades of love, devotion, and beautiful memories.

Annette’s life was defined by her love for her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a gentle soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Annette is survived by Her loving husband, Larry G. Hanson; Her children, Anthony D. Weaver and Elizabeth A. Weaver; sister Mary (Gene) Jorgensen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerrold and Mildred Hanson; sister Loretta Melton.

Memorial services to celebrate Annette’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at West Koshkonong Lutheran Church, located at 1911 Koshkonong Rd., Stoughton, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at church.

Annette will be laid to rest at the West Koshkonong Lutheran Church Cemetery immediately following the service. Following the committal, family and friends are warmly invited to gather in the church fellowship hall for a luncheon and a time of shared memories.
