Andrew J. Park

Waterloo-Andrew J. ""Jack"" Park, age 83, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Columbus Nursing & Rehab. Center. He was born on January 15, 1927 in Chicago, IL the son of Andrew M. & Edith E. (Windsor) Park. Jack was united in marriage to Florence Fahrow in Northlake, IL on July 12, 1948. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WW II in the pacific theater and then later with the U.S. Army in Panama. Jack has been a resident of Waterloo for the past 10 years. He was a devoted Christian who served and loved the Lord. He will be missed by his loving family, including his wife of over 62 years, Florence; his daughters, Kimberley (Tony) Reed, Debra Scott and Tamara (Arthur) Parr; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Lesley Park. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, Sun Prairie. Burial will be held in Washington Cemetery, Portland.
