Alma W. Wilson

Alma W. Wilson, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at her home.   She was born on Sept. 6, 1917 in Titusville, Florida the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Holt) Gibson.   On March 11, 1945 she was united in marriage to Willie W. Wilson.   He preceded her in death on October 29, 1976.   Survivors include her children; Cynthia P. (Dr. Lawrence) Tolson of Racine, Gordon C. ( Carolina) Wilson of Madison; two granddaughters, Yolanda Tolson-Eveans of Sun Prairie, and Safiya Tolson-Mirsberger of Racine; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters Ruth McCoy and Mary Miller of Jacksonville, Florida as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.   A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, with visitation from 11am until the time of service.
