Alice D. Martin

Madison -- Alice ""Dunc"" Martin, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from cancer.   Alice Duncanson was born on February 26, 19 23 in Wagner , South Dakota .   She graduated from St. Vincent 's College of Nursing , worked in a physician's office, then served in the United States Army from 1945-1946.   Dunc married Sonny Martin on April 6, 19 46 and began life as an Army wife.   Their daughter, Pam, was born in 1949.   Dunc will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and fabulous dinner parties.   She loved gardening, tennis and having fun.   She is survived by her daughter, Pamela and son-in-law, Richard Forcier.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sonny in 1999 and her three brothers.   A celebration of life service will be held at HOSPICECARE INC. 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg, on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with HospiceCare Inc. Chaplain Linda O'Leary officiating.   Please celebrate her life by dressing in cheerful colors.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E.
