Alberta Ripp

WAUNAKEE-Alberta E. Ripp, age 75, of Waunakee, died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at Virginia Health and Rehab Center in Waukesha. Alberta was born in Ashton on Oct. 11, 1940, to Joseph G. and Johanna (Ripp) Kalscheur. She attended school at St. Peter's in Ashton and later Middleton High School. She was employed for a number of years as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Wisconsin. She was a past member of St John's Catholic Church. Alberta loved to travel and enjoyed playing various games including euchre and bingo.

Survivors include her children; Laura I. (Buck) Taylor, William "Bill" Ripp, Theresa (Raymond) Nall, Maria "Mia" (Tod) Rocco, and Bonita "Bonnie" (Toby) Shucha; nine grandchildren; former husband, Walter "Wally" Ripp; four sisters, Mary Lou Schmitt, Sister Johanna, Beatrice (Roman) Statz, and Doris "Dorie" French; and two brothers, Donald (Joan) Kalscheur and Joseph Jr. (Loretta) Kalscheur. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Warner.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. St John's Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
