Alan Anthony Klein, age 67, of Waunakee/Madison passed away on March 23, 2026 at his residence in Madison. He was born on July 6, 1958 to Anthony and Dorothy (Gallagher) Klein. Al was an avid fan of the Badgers and Packers. He cherished the friendships he built with the Waunakee Fire department. Al was also a devoted fan of John Wayne and took great pleasure in watching his movies. Al participated in the Special Olympics for many years.

Alan is survived by his sisters, Nancy Cleveland, Judy Gaffney, Jean (Wes) Lovick, his nieces and great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 starting at 10:00am. - St John’s Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee, followed by service and burial starting at 11:00am.

Special thanks to his caregivers at Dreamweavers, his care-team including Dr. Ranum, his staff and St. Mary’s Hospice for making his final days peaceful.
