Aidan Sweet

(MADISON) Aidan James Mabale Sweet passed away in his home on August 21, 2020 at the age of 17.

Aidan is survived by his parents; James and Margaret; his sister, Alexandra; and various extended family members in Charlotte, North Carolina and Johannesburg, South Africa.

Aidan was born in Miami, Florida on April 16, 2003. As a young boy, his energy was unyielding and his love even more so. His curiosity and tenacity were the cornerstones of his life, making him an avid traveler and lover of all things exotic. He traveled to more than twenty countries; his favorites were Bora Bora and South Africa, his second home. Aidan’s joyful spirit uplifted the people around him and left an indelible mark on the world. His memory lives on in those he loved and who love him in return.

A visitation for Aidan will held on Thursday, August 27 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, from 10am until the time of his funeral service at 12pm (noon).   The service will be officiated by a family friend, Moji Olaniyan. Due to COVID-19, those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
