Agnes Waggoner

November 30, 1918 — March 17, 2012

Madison - Agnes P. Waggoner, age 93, died Sat., March 17, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare. Agnes was born Nov. 30, 1918 on the family farm in Winfield, Wis., the daughter of Lester and Mary (Healy) Craker. Having come to Madison at an early age, she was a city girl with a country heart.
She was married to William J. Waggoner in 1943 at St. Raphael's Cathedral in Madison.
Agnes is survived by her children, Jean Frantzen, Joan (Bradley) Kendall, Roger, Margaret (Michael) Manning, John (Lynne), Pricilla, and Julia (John) Bailey; 24 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 8 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; son, Joseph; granddaughter, Charissa Frantzen; three brothers; and six sisters.
A visitation will be held Tue., March 20, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed., March 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC PARISH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison, 53726. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
