Agnes Endres

Aggie (Agnes) Elizabeth Endres (Ziegler), age 79, of Waunakee, WI passed away on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. She was born on April 30th, 1947, in Asthon, WI, the youngest daughter of Peter Ziegler and Seraphine Ziegler (Meinholz). She married Ken (Kenneth) Endres on July 3rd, 1981, in Waunakee.

Aggie graduated from Waunakee High School in 1965 and was passionate about gardening and flowers, becoming a florist and opening a floral shop, Designs by Aggie, in Waunakee for several years. She later worked in the office for St. John’s Parish, publishing the weekly bulletin and performing general office management. She was family focused, having grown up in a large family and having two boys of her own, spending many weekends and holidays at family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Ken; her two sons, Fred (Jill) Zimbric, and Jamie (Tammy) Zimbric; her sister, Margie (Vic) Piffl; her brother Joe Ziegler; two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; seven sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, 209 South St., Waunakee at 11am on Friday, August 14, 2026. Visitation will take place on Friday at St. John’s Church from 9:00am to 11:00am. She will be buried at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Ashton in a private service.
