Ace Herschleb ended his courageous battle with cancer on March 20, 2023 and was welcomed joyously into Heaven. The warrior became an angel. He was born on January 21, 1974 in Portage, Wisconsin to Perry (Eulberg) and Dennis Herschleb.
Ace graduated from Marshall High School in 1992. He worked in the construction and maintenance field throughout his life.
Ace was known for his love of bucket hats, hooded sweatshirts, and an endless collection of shoes. He lived large and passionately, never afraid to be the life of the party. Ace was known to break out into song and had wicked dance moves. He enjoyed his beer and his Fireball and was always up for playing bags with his besties. His favorite thing in the world was to be with family and friends. Ace loved them all fiercely and was there in good times and bad. Ace’s two most loved times of the year were his July vacation on the lake in St. Germain with friends, and his February ice fishing trip with the guys.
Throughout his battle with pancreatic cancer, Ace showed the world how to fight with grace, laughter, and dignity. He continued to enjoy every minute, no matter the pain or exhaustion.
Ace is survived by his wife Heather; sons Noah Cook and Joseph Cook; parents Dennis and Perry (Eulberg) Herschleb; brother Chris (Elizabeth) Herschleb; nephews Tarek Herschleb and Teagan Herschleb; and too many friends to count.
Ace would want everyone who knew him to raise a glass of their favorite beverage in his honor and celebrate the light he was in the world.
The family would like to thank Carbone Cancer Center, Froedtert Cancer Center and Agrace Hospice for their loving care.
Visitation will be from 1-3:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home SUN PRAIRIE with a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.
