A. Warden

Madison - A. Del Warden, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Middleton. He was born on April 24, 1924 in Rhinelander. He was united in marriage to Grace T. Okray Warden on November 28, 1946 in Stevens Point. Del was a teacher and painter in the Wausau area. He was a boy scout leader in his early career.

Del is survived by his seven children: Phillip (Mary), Timothy (Ramona), Cecelia (Tom) Zaccard, Rosemary (Charles) Endean, Joseph (Bernadette), Tom, and Mary (Dan) Goede; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; one son; his parents, Amenzo and Stella Warden of Rhinelander; and brother, Eugene.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Drive, Madison, with Father Bill Nolan presiding. A visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Wednesday.
