Hazel Jacobs

Madison - Hazel Clara Jacobs, age 101, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014 while at Karmenta Nursing Home.

Hazel was born on May 15, 1912 in Madison, the daughter of Ralph and Helena Hankey. Hazel married Alvin Jacobs on April 25, 1942 in Jefferson, Missouri. Alvin preceded her in death on April 27, 1974.

Hazel was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Madison and a former member of the Eagles Club. Hazel also worked for many years until her retirement at the Madison Dairy Produce Company.

Hazel is survived by a sister, Eleanor Dicksenson of Skokie, IL and two nephews, Russell and Alvin Siewert of Madison.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alvin and two siblings, Olive Siewert and Ernest Hankey.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ken Smith will officiate.

Cress Cremation Services assisted the family with their cremation needs.
