A poem for you as written by Ashley Pauley.
In the skies above
In the clouds of white
Stands you shadow
With gleaming light
As you watch over us
We feel your love
Day and night
You shine above
Goodbye for now
We shall see you soon
Where the angels fly
Above the moon.
Fond memories of Bub.
I guess the first of many is when I witnessed him breaking up a bunch of 5 bullies who were picking on one kid.
I didn't know what to do but he sure did.
He said "I don't think I like the odds here!"
That was the end of that problem.
And then there were the euchre games that lasted until 4:00 am.
Can't remember how many times I heard "Never send a boy" as he overtrumped me.
Marathon frisbee at the A&P parking lot on 13th ave. Monroe.
I knew Bub a long time ago. We used to all hang out together and have so much fun. Yes his laughter and gentleness and kindness. May your loved one come to you all in your dreams to help fill that void you now feel so deeply. Please accept my sympathy.
You're forever in my heart Grandpa Bub. You shall be dearly missed.
He is Healed...
Dearest Lana, Elisa, Ashley, Hunter, Austin and Elijah,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you
walk through this time. May God comfort you
with happy memories of Bub, his laughter,
passion and love - as Bub now dwells in perfect
peace and joy.
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.'"
With deepest sympathy, Dave & Mary Wolfe
We'll miss your smile, your hearty laughter and your passionate nature. You are in a better place.
To Bub's family,
I remember Bub from High School, and my cousins are your cousins, the Davises from Ohio, Rick, Scott, Jay and Marty. I haven't seen Bub since school, but it looks like he has had a full life. My condolences...
