I fondly remember the Walsh family on Winston Avenue, and I loved the ice skating rink they had every winter in their yard.
Many years since I have seen Jack and I remember him with great fondness as a tough straight talking young friend of mine. Like Butch Tornabeni I played with Jack at St. Margaret's and then against him while I went to Leo and he was at Carmel. It was a wonderful time to grow up. Jack did a great job of it.
Jack and I played guards on the St Margaret of Scotland Football team back in 1960 and he was a tough competitor along with being a darn good guy. Glad to have had him as a team mate.
My prayers and sympathies go out to all the Walsh Family.
The thoughts and prayers of the Mount Carmel High School community are with your family during these days. May the saints of Carmel welcome Jack into God's eternal embrace and may Our Lady of Mount Carmel wrap you in the mantle of her love and care.

Our condolences to Jack's family. We were neighbors when we lived in Drover's Woods some 40 years ago. Jack was a good neighbor and a great role model for his children. Jack was truly one of the "good" guys.
My deepest sympathies to Jack's family and friends. I have known him for the last 12 years as a client. He was always a straight shooter and a man of his word who treated others with respect. He will be missed.
Jack was a year behind me at Mt Carmel. On the Frosh/Soph team, we both played interior line. It was the Lombardi era. The way to get noticed was to fight at practice.
I hated fighting with Jack. He never fought fair !! He was a wrestler and would pick me up and drive me into the ground for a pin. He was a good guy. A really good guy !!
My deepest condolences to Jack's family. I graduated with him from Mount Carmel, and will always remember him. - Dick Post
