UTICA - Myron C. Fosdal, age 77, passed away on Tue. March 14, 2017 at his home in Utica. He was born Aug. 19, 1939 in Stoughton, to the late Oliver and Olive (Otteson) Fosdal. He attended Stoughton High School. Myron married Patricia Jansen in 1975 in Hawaii, and they had a lovely reception in Madison. He is a lifelong farmer, learning some of his skills from his father and from Dale Doering. Myron's nieces and nephews always loved going to Myron's and checking out the machinery. He also worked at Rein Schultz & Dahl Asphalt Company and General Motors. Myron had been a longtime ticket holder for the Packers season tickets, and has been generous with the tickets, sharing them with family at no cost. He rubbed elbows with Bart Starr as well as Joe Namath from the New York Jets. Myron was fortunate to see Elvis on more than one occasion. He loved to travel to places like London, Puerto Rico, St. Louis, Palm Springs, Scottsdale, Ft. Myers, Mexico, Florida Keys and many trips to Hawaii. His favorite spots locally were the Wisconsin Dells, Green Lake and Minocqua.
Myron is survived by his wife Patricia, step-son Jeff Jansen, brothers Wayne Fosdal, Ronald Fosdal; sister Naomi (Michael) Lynch; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, niece Cheryl Fosdal, and a sister-in-law Gloria Fosdal.

My brother and I worked many summers helping Myron plant and harvest tobacco. He was always very fair to us and the help. We still have many memories of those hot summer days. My condolences to Pat and other family. Lynn Peterson
