Kittleson, Robert C.

Madison -- Robert C. Kittleson, age 81, died on Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Alterra Sterling House in Middleton. He was born on July 20, 1927 in Madison, WI, the son of Robert and Esther Kittleson. He was united in marriage to Betty Brandt on September 23, 1967 in Madison and they were inseparable ever since. Bob had a passion for baseball and was a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan. The story goes that his first words as a child were not "momma" and "daddy" but "Kikki" and "Gabby". Kikki Cuyler and Gabby Hartnett were star players for the Cubs. Bob enjoyed managing city recreation softball teams for many years and was especially proud of his team, "Kitts Bombers". In Bob's heaven the Cubs win the World Series every year.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Betty Kittleson; other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Bob's family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care that he received at Alterra Sterling House and Care Wisconsin.
