Lampman, JoAnn Cockrell

(November 7th, 1923 - May 31st, 2009)

JoAnn Cockrell Lampman, age 85, died peacefully at her home in Madison on May 31, 2009.   Born in Madison, November 7, 1923, her parents were Loran B. and Margaret Cockrell.   She was preceded in death by her brother;  James Cockrell, her sister; Jane Harper, and her husband; Robert   J. Lampman, a UW Professor of   Economics.    She is survived by four children, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.   A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Blackhawk Country Club for family and friends.   JoAnn's passions were music, art, and gardens, and she supported a number of Madison organizations.    The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in JoAnn's name to the group of your choice.
