Madison -- George Arthur Waech, age 83, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on November 28, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of George and Emma (Marth) Waech. He was united in marriage to Betty Koshnick on October 16, 1948 in Milwaukee. George is survived by his daughter, Kim Robin; sons, Jeffrey Waech and Todd Waech; a grandson, Collin Waech and a sister, Gertrude Schroeder. George was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty. Funeral services will be held at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1021 Spaight St., Madison on Monday, June 1, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Werth officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, June 1, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
